Prevention starts with parents at home. So, consider the following statements as they relate to you:

  1. I often ask my children how their day was.

  2. I know what "binge drinking" is defined as.

  3. I know my child(ren)'s friends, their parents and contact information.
  4. I am absolutely positive that my child has never tried alcohol.

  5. We eat dinner as a family.

  6. I spend "Quality" time with my child(ren) everyday.

  7. I am consistent with family rules and consequences about alcohol use.

  8. My child(ren) comes to me with all their problems or concerns?.

  9. I have never drunk to alleviate stress.

  10. Alcohol is extremely difficult for my child to acquire.
